Horse Trekking in Tuscany
Ride beyond a single afternoon: our new multi-day treks combine horseback riding, the Tuscan sea, wine and authentic countryside into one seamless adventure.
Choose a 4-day or 6-day itinerary, both starting and ending at our stables in Pian D'Alma. Every route is guided, all-inclusive (horse, meals, and farmhouse accommodation), and open to confident riders of all levels who are comfortable spending several hours a day in the saddle.

Trek · 4 Days
Duration: 4 days / 3 nights Level: All levels welcome
Day 2 – Cala Violina Nature Reserve (5–6h). Ride through the scrub of the nature reserve to the panoramic coast, with a buffet lunch stop at Cala Violina and the chance to swim in warmer months. Dinner at a typical local restaurant, with transfer included.
Day 3 – Punta Ala Beach (5–6h). Ride through the woods to Punta Ala's 8 km of sand for a full gallop, with a beach buffet lunch and time to relax by the sea. Farewell aperitif and fish dinner at the farmhouse (vegetarian and vegan menus available).
Day 4 – Departure. Breakfast before saying goodbye to the horses and heading home.
Trek · 6 Days
Duration: 6 days / 5 nights Level: All levels welcome
Day 1 – Welcome. Check in at the farmhouse and meet your horse, followed by a short orientation ride. Welcome aperitif and a typical Tuscan dinner (meat, vegetarian and vegan menus available).
Day 2 – Cala Violina Nature Reserve (5–6h). Ride through the scrub to the panoramic coast, with a buffet lunch and relaxing time at Cala Violina beach (swimming possible in warmer months). Dinner at a typical local restaurant, with transfer included.
Day 3 – Winery (6h). Ride through the picturesque Tuscan countryside and forest paths of the Maremma villages, stopping for lunch at "The Hunter's House" deep in the woods. Continue on horseback to a local winery for a tasting, leaving the horses there overnight. Return to the farmhouse by transfer for dinner.
Day 4 (5–6h). Transfer back to the winery to collect the horses, then ride through wild Maremma countryside and forest paths. Lunch buffet at the ruins of the Monte Muro convent, a 14th-century site overlooking the sea. Aperitif at the stables, dinner at a typical restaurant with transfer.
Day 5 – Punta Ala Beach (5–6h). Ride through the woods to Punta Ala's 8 km of sand for a full gallop, with a beach buffet lunch and time to relax by the sea. Farewell aperitif and dinner at the farmhouse.
Day 6 – Departure. Breakfast before saying goodbye to the horses and heading home.
